SOUTH FRANKLIN

37064

By far the largest in geographic size and topographical diversity, 37064 encompasses all of Historic Downtown and the 1863 Franklin Battlefield, and extends as far west as the Village of Leipers Fork (hills, artsy & fun!), and south to the I-840 corridor. Included within its borders are a section of the National Natchez Trace Parkway, vibrant planned neighborhoods of Westhaven and Berry Farms, plus Ladd Park, the Carothers extension, and on farther southeast. New construction, equestrian, golf course and luxury homes are available, and the scenic Harpeth River wends its way diagonally through the area, a source of recreation and great beauty.

COOL SPRINGS

37067

Northeast Franklin is usually referred to as the “Cool Springs” area and it exudes a life of its own. With a decidedly urban vibe, the “edge city” along the I-65 corridor is home to major corporations including Nissan, HCA and Mars, with business parks, luxury hotels, and ever-expanding retail and dining locations. Condos and townhomes, exec homes and luxury apartments dot the landscape, and outlying areas offer secluded estates, plus the planned neighborhood of McKay’s Mill and numerous comfortable residential subdivisions. Geographically, 37067 is the smallest of the three areas and offers the gamut in housing options, from “lock & leave” to luxury estates.

NORTH FRANKLIN

37069

Decidedly residential, this lovely area abuts Brentwood proper and affords easy access to West Nashville’s beautiful Percy & Edwin Warner Parks. The Harpeth River and its tributaries are dominant geographical features, and the genesis of the Natchez Trace Parkway is just outside its borders. Popular subdivisions include Fieldstone Farms, Legends Ridge, Cottonwood, River Landing, and Temple Hills, plus numerous other homes are secluded in the rolling hills. Exclusive family compounds are nestled throughout the area and natural beauty is the unmistakable hallmark.
